Golf: Close proximity to 18-hole championship golf course. This 7,200 yard course is rated 73.1 and has plenty of tee boxes for every level of play.
Pools: Large swimming pools with children’s pool area. Complimentary lounge chairs, sun umbrellas, and towels are provided all throughout the pool area.
Water Sports: Sailing, wind surfing, water skiing, sea kayaking, snorkeling, canoeing, water volleyball, body boarding, hobie cats (two-person catamaran), and introductory SCUBA lesson in dive pool are all available. Take your first lessons in sailing! Enjoy a variety of motorized water sports, including parasailing, jet skiing and banana boat rides. You can even swim with playful dolphins! (Motorized water sports and dolphin swims are an additional charge.)
Beach: Great stretch of white sand beach that is free from almost all coral and seaweed with mild waves, ideal for walking, running and beach volleyball. Complimentary lounge chairs on the beach are provided.
Other Activities: Participate in aerobics, beach volleyball, ping pong, racquetball, basketball, day trips, tours, and many more organized activities for both adults and children. Enjoy scuba diving, archeological site exploration, horseback riding, and bicycling. Explore the natural surroundings of the hotel via the many pathways and spy on the monkeys, birds, and lizards indigenous to the area.

The Mexican Street is near the hotel and offers internet access, fitness center, medical center, and a variety of shops and facilities including sportswear, water sports accessories, jewelry, hairdresser and beauty salon, photo studio and lab, and art and handicrafts. Stroll down Mexican Street and shop at any of the many boutiques.
Kid's Club: Supervised children’s activities at Riu Yucatan and children’s’ disco from 9:00 pm –10:00 pm (ages 4-12 years). In addition, there is children’s entertainment and a child mini-club at nearby Riu Tequila.
Entertainment: Theatre includes daytime adult entertainment, shows and Riu Evening Program, and live music several times a week; program varies daily. Drinks and dancing at La Espuela Disco (Riu Yucatan, open 6 nights a week) and La Piñata Disco (Riu Tequila, open every night).
